  • Flood of 2021

In August of 2021 Haywood County experienced major flooding that devastated most of our community. The Community Kitchen experienced great loss from the flood but with help from neighboring churches and the community we was able to resume operations quickly! We received lots of donations to replace a lot of the items we lost due to the flooding.

Volunteers working very hard getting things cleaned up!

Western Carolina University Band helped put together a food and supply drive to help replace some of the items lost in the flood.

Aftermath of the flood; TCK lost many freezers and refrigerators full of food that is used to make up food boxes that are distributed to the community twice a month.

Group photo of some of the volunteers that came out to help us clean and start getting things back in order.

  • A Servants Heart

We are so grateful and blessed to have a working Board of Directors whose desire is to serve.

Here at TCK everyone is welcome to come eat and shop. We serve anyone in need and we believe everyone is in need of something,. It could be food, ministry or just to be loved and know someone cares. We strive to provide these needs for all who comes and visits us.

    Faithful

"For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your house." Matthew 25: 35

    Shopping Center

We have a shopping area that is available to everyone starting at 4:30 pm!
